Contract Value: $3.20 million plus GST

Completion Date: 28 February 2012

Scope of Work: This heritage listed building was treated for acoustic noise attenuation by means of installing new windows, doors, new air-conditioning system including special acoustically insulated ducting and housing.

Installation and painting of the high curved acoustic ceilings and installation of a completely new roof were undertaken.

The building was also strengthened against seismic events by the installation of several thousand wall tie bars between the inner and outer skins of cavity walls, and remediation of the core filled brick piers and associated structural strengthening to the roof.

The adjacent community hall and administration building was also completed for noise attenuation works.
